BEHIND THE BRAND

My name is Ijha, I am the founder of ZADID Home. This brand was founded on the idea of making interior design available to everyone. I started my career in the design industry through a CAD program called room planner. I had no idea how my life would change just from downloading an app. In 2020 at the height of the pandemic, I was fresh out of school with no portfolio and no experience. I searched and searched for jobs but the search left me unsatisfied. I knew that I needed some experience and a portfolio in order to get started but I just couldn't bring myself to work at a firm on projects under someone else's supervision. I then found and downloaded the room planner app. I took two years to work on and master the app. Within those two years I've acquired a client base but it just wasn't enough for me. I felt like I needed to push myself to do more. Then voila! The idea to start an online interior design platform popped into my head and now into fruition. But it doesn't stop there. While working on the room planner app I noticed that I would get asked a lot of questions from fellow designers about how to use the app. I decided to use social media as a way to teach and help other designers use, design, and navigate around the app. This gave me the idea to start a mobile CAD/ interior design program to help fellow designers on their design journeys.
